Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Magic Mailbox Club?
The Magic Mailbox Club is a fun, educational writing club for elementary school children. Members receive and write two engaging, age-grade level appropriate letters each month.
Who writes the letters?
All letters are created and replied to by our team of trained, educated writers who respond at the age and skill level of your child. The letters will appear as though they are written from another child.
Is it a pen pal club?
It’s similar to a pen pal club, but with an educational twist—our focus is on building writing skills, reading comprehension, and creativity through friendly, personalized exchanges. Most importantly, we want our subscribers to be excited and engaged.
How often will my child get letters?
After the Welcome Kit arrives, your child receives and writes two educational letters per month. Letters are sent out on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. Use the Welcome Kit supplies for your letters. No running to the store for envelopes or stamps!
Can parents keep the letters?
Yes! We offer an optional add-on where we save all your child’s letters and mail them back to you as a keepsake at the end of your subscription.
How does my child respond to letters?
Your child writes a reply letter and sends it back to us in the pre-addressed, pre-stamped envelope we provide.
Do you screen the letters?
Yes—every letter is reviewed by our team for educational value before being mailed.
What ages is the club for?
The club is best suited for elementary school children, but we can adapt letters for younger or older children upon request.
